The Ultraformer MPT device

Ultraformer MPT — also known as HIFU MPT — is the fourth-generation Ultraformer launched by the Classys group in 2023. Like its predecessors it works on the principle of high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU), concentrating heat of 65–75°C at a targeted tissue depth. Beyond the immediate contraction this produces, those micro-coagulation points stimulate collagen to reorganise and regenerate, so skin gradually regains firmness and bounce over the one to three months after treatment, tightening the contour.

On top of the seven transducers of the previous generation, Ultraformer MPT adds three depths (1.5mm / 3.0mm / 4.5mm) of pen-shaped circular transducer, so finer areas can be treated and the handpiece follows the curve of the skin precisely. Across 10 transducers there are 20 treatment modes, delivering not only facial lifting but also firmer waist, abdomen and thighs, with up to 2cm off the waistline. The circular transducers also pair with Classys’ patented DSB essence infusion, so that serum is driven into the deeper layers of the skin while it is being lifted and firmed — brightening and hydrating at the same time.

Two firing modes, for different skin concerns

Ultraformer MPT offers two firing modes: Standard mode and MP mode. Standard mode creates 17 coagulation points beneath the skin per shot, while MP mode uses Classys’ patented Micro-Pulsed Technology to create 417 continuous coagulation points in a single shot. As a result, Ultraformer MPT lifts, firms, slims and sculpts more visibly than the third generation, and treats 2.5 times faster.

Ultraformer MPT precautions

After an Ultraformer MPT treatment the treated area may be slightly red, swollen or tender. This usually settles on its own within a few hours.

Ultraformer MPT is not suitable for anyone with severe diabetes, an active infection, a skin disease, or who is pregnant.

Ultraformer MPT is not suitable for anyone with an implanted pacemaker, an implantable cardioverter defibrillator, or any other implanted electronic device.

Tell your physician in advance if you have had injectables, retinoids or similar treatments in the past few weeks or months.

For a week after an Ultraformer MPT treatment, avoid high-heat environments such as hot springs, saunas and steam rooms.

Ultraformer MPT frequently asked questions

Ultraformer MPT feels gentler than the third generation. Treatment is quick and comfortable, and post-treatment swelling is greatly reduced, so it barely interferes with your day.

Ultraformer MPT is non-invasive. You may see temporary mild redness and swelling afterwards, and you can put makeup on straight away.

You can feel a clear lifting and firming effect right away. With proper aftercare the results of Ultraformer MPT last around 12 to 18 months, though this varies with your constitution and lifestyle.

Results begin to emerge after the treatment. You may feel tightening within two weeks, and the lifting effect becomes visible after one to three months.
